Return & Replacement Policy (The Clone Foundry)
At The Clone Foundry, our mission is to deliver the healthiest, happiest plants possible. Because we ship live genetics, we use a clear, simple policy that protects customers and protects the integrity of our plants.
No Returns on Live Plants
Because clones are living and perishable, we cannot accept returns on live plants.
Once a plant leaves our care, it can’t safely come back.
Our Replacement Promise (Live Arrival Guarantee)
If your clones don’t arrive in good shape, we’ll make it right.
To qualify for replacement consideration:
✅ Send clear photos within 24 hours of delivery
✅ Contact us right away so we can verify the issue as delivered
Once we verify the issue, we’ll send replacement plants at no extra cost (subject to availability).
24-Hour Photo Requirement (Strict)
Because clones are live plants and can change quickly after delivery, all claims must be submitted within 24 hours with photos.
Claims submitted after 24 hours may not be eligible, because we may be unable to confirm the condition at delivery.
What Photos We Need (Required)
To submit a replacement claim, send:
- Outside of the box (show damage if any)
- Inside of the box (packaging + how everything arrived)
- Clear photos of the clones (top + side + close-up)
- Shipping label photo (tracking visible)
The clearer the photos, the faster we can approve and resolve it.
What’s Covered
Replacements apply when clones arrive:
✅ Dead on arrival (DOA)
✅ Crushed / severely damaged in transit
✅ Frozen or overheated due to carrier mishandling
✅ Broken beyond recovery
What’s Not Covered
We can’t cover issues caused after delivery, including:
❌ Packages left outside after delivery
❌ Incorrect address entered at checkout
❌ Customer not available to receive package
❌ Improper transplant, watering, lighting, or environment after arrival
Non-Plant Items (Merch / Accessories)
For items like merchandise or accessories, we accept returns within 14 days if they are:
✅ Unused
✅ In original packaging
Shipping costs are non-refundable.

✅ Inspect everything right away
✅ Contact us quickly if something looks wrong
